Fee types
A single deposit can incur multiple fee types. For example, depositing ETH on Arbitrum to receive USDC on Base incurs all three of the Rhinestone fees: gas for on-chain execution, a bridging fee for the cross-chain settlement, and a swap fee for the ETH → USDC conversion. Same-chain deposits skip the bridging fee, and same-token deposits skip the swap fee.
The app fee is different in kind: it’s a fee you charge, not a cost of executing the deposit, and nothing is charged unless you configure a rate.
How fees are applied
Fees your organization pays are billed to you monthly. Fees the user pays are subtracted from the deposit amount during processing, and the user receives the remainder on the target chain. For example, if a user deposits 100 USDC and the swap fee is 0.50 USDC, the user receives 99.50 USDC on the target chain. Enterprise plans can sponsor swaps, or pass gas and bridging to the user; see sponsorship.Solana deposit app fees
Solana app-fee collection supports deposits of the following mainnet assets to EVM destinations. Collection is off by default and requires activation by Rhinestone, separately from fee configuration.
SOL app fees are charged in native SOL. Its identifier is not an SPL mint and does not refer to wrapped SOL; the other assets use SPL mints.
PYUSD uses Token-2022. Routes are refused if its issuer enables a non-zero transfer fee.
The rate is fixed when a deposit is first detected and survives configuration changes and retries. Deposits detected before activation keep zero fees.
Exact-out previews price the fee on the requested delivery, but execution charges it against the source amount. Depositing the quoted input can therefore deliver slightly less than requested.
Eligible Solana earnings can be withdrawn on EVM. If delivery fails permanently after fee collection, contact Rhinestone for a manual app-fee refund; refunds are not automatic.
