# getPerpPositions

> List an account's open Hyperliquid perpetual positions.

## Import

```ts theme={null}
import { getPerpPositions } from '@rhinestone/sdk/hypercore'
```

## Usage

```ts theme={null}
const positions = await getPerpPositions(account.getAddress('evm'))
```

## Parameters

<ParamField path="account" type="`0x${string}`" required>
  the EVM address holding collateral and positions, not the SDK account handle
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="options" type="HyperliquidConfig">
  where to reach Hyperliquid's info endpoint
</ParamField>

## Returns

<ResponseField name="perpPositions" type="PerpPosition[]">
  one entry per open position; empty when the account holds none
</ResponseField>
