# enable

> Set up social recovery.

## Import

import { enable } from '@rhinestone/sdk/actions/recovery'
```

## Usage

```ts theme={null}
// Requires sponsorship enabled for your project.
const transaction = await account.prepareTransaction({
  destination: {
    chain,
    calls: [enable(guardians)],
  },
  sponsored: true,
})
```

## Parameters

<ParamField path="guardians" type="Account[]" required>
  Guardians permitted to recover the account
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="threshold" type="number">
  Guardian signatures required to recover
  Default: `1`.
</ParamField>

## Returns
