# enable

> Enable multi-factor authentication

## Import

import { enable } from '@rhinestone/sdk/actions/mfa'
```

## Usage

```ts theme={null}
// Requires sponsorship enabled for your project.
const transaction = await account.prepareTransaction({
  destination: {
    chain,
    calls: [enable(validators)],
  },
  sponsored: true,
})
```

## Parameters

<ParamField path="validators" type="MfaFactor | null[]" required>
  List of validators to use
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="threshold" type="number">
  Threshold for the validators
  Default: `1`.
</ParamField>

<ParamField path="moduleAddress" type="`0x${string}`">
  Multi-factor module to install. Defaults to the legacy module.
</ParamField>

## Returns

<ResponseField name="call" type="LazyCallInput">
  Calls to enable multi-factor authentication
</ResponseField>
