# signAuthorizations

> Sign the EIP-7702 delegations a prepared transaction's quote asks for.

Advanced: ordinary `signTransaction` already collects these. This method
uses the account's configured EOA, not an arbitrary delegation signer. It
acquires current nonce state and signs the requested delegation slots;
it returns `[]` when none are requested. Solana origins are unsupported.

`prepared` and `contributions` must refer to the same selected quote. Pass
the returned proofs to assembly without changing their request indices.

Method on an account instance returned by [`createAccount`](/wallets/custom-signer/sdk-reference/rhinestone-sdk/create-account). Requires a managed transaction account (EVM or managed Solana); unavailable on receiver-only and standalone Solana accounts.

## Usage

const delegationProofs = await account.signAuthorizations(prepared)
const signed = await account.assembleTransaction(prepared, contributions, {
  proofs: delegationProofs,
})
```
