# deploy

> Deploy the EVM account on a given chain.

An account deployed through an intent pays for it on the same chain: a
sponsored deployment spends nothing, and an unsponsored one spends
`source.token`, which it then requires. A deployment that runs as a
UserOperation takes neither. The example requires a viem `base` chain,
integrator sponsorship for the first call, and an account funded with
`usdcOnBase` (the chain's USDC address) to cover fees for the unsponsored
alternative. Choose one deployment mode, not both sequentially.
Awaiting a UserOperation receipt does not guarantee successful execution;
verify onchain deployment if that path is used.

Method on an account instance returned by [`createAccount`](/wallets/custom-signer/sdk-reference/rhinestone-sdk/create-account). Requires a managed EVM account; unavailable on receiver-only and standalone Solana accounts.

## Usage
